Hired by the Select Board for a 3 year term.
Description
The Treasurer is responsible for managing all town moneys, disperses all cash, manages debt obligations and banking relations. Administers group insurance and is responsible for payroll, pension and retirement systems.
The Tax Collector is responsible for overall administration for local taxes.
